Colour Fastness Testing

Instruments for the colour fastness tests apparel and home textile buyers specify by name — washing, rubbing, perspiration, water and dry heat. Each is built to the test principle of the relevant ISO 105, AATCC or IS method, so results stand up when the buyer's own laboratory retests the same fabric.

A fastness result is only as good as the light it is graded under. Pair any of these with a colour matching cabinet and a grey scale set so every operator assigns the same grade on every shift.
